A 12-month complex spine fellowship sponsored by the UTHSC Department of Neurosurgery and based primarily at Semmes-Murphey, aiming to train complex spine surgeons for academic or clinical practice.
Clinical rotation covering degenerative, traumatic, neoplastic and congenital spinal conditions, with about 70% of time in surgery and 30% in non-operative care, across a university medical centre, a community hospital and a private ambulatory surgery centre. The research rotation requires at least two projects and one publishable paper.
