NeuroSurgFellow is a discovery and decision-support layer—not the definitive application authority. Every programme profile is designed to lead back to an official source.
Availability is explicit
A programme is labelled open only when its official source publishes a current or future intake signal. Silence is never converted into a deadline.
Uncertainty stays visible
Eligibility, funding, clinical privileges and duration are marked as unconfirmed when the source does not clearly publish them.
Material changes are dated
Each profile includes the date its official source was last checked so applicants can judge how fresh the information is.
Completeness is not quality
The profile score counts published decision fields such as dates, funding, eligibility, licensing, participation and application requirements. It does not rate teaching quality, reputation or outcomes.
Expired calls are historical evidence
An expired application call may confirm that a pathway existed, but it is never presented as a currently open opportunity without a new official intake signal.
Corrections require a source
Programme suggestions and corrections enter editorial review. They are not published automatically and should include an official institutional or regulatory source.
Editorial and sponsorship stay separate
No institution can purchase a higher completeness score, verification label, ranking or favourable conclusion. Sponsored material must be visibly identified.
