Funding: Published salary: PGY-6 $76,303 per year and PGY-7 $77,641 per year, with health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, malpractice cover, professional development funds and a relocation allowance.
Exposure: Neurointerventional management of cerebrovascular disease at Miami Valley Hospital (973 beds, level 1 trauma centre), with two biplane angiography suites, a 36-bed neurocritical care unit and a nine-hospital stroke network; fellows are expected to participate in more than 500 cases.
Eligibility: Completion of a neurology, neurosurgery or radiology residency (neurologists also need vascular neurology and/or neurocritical care fellowship training; radiologists neuroradiology and/or interventional radiology training).
